My Own Personal Chef

I just want you to see what my gorgeous rye chef looks like after hanging out in my kitchen for a full day of work.

  1. I see "Beard on Bread" in your list. It is on my shelf as well. What is your favorite recipe from there? I will make it in reciprocal spirit as it is definitely bread baking weather!! (I am going to love your blog ;-)

  2. Because it was the first bread I baked from this book, which was one of the first bread books I ever bought when I started baking, I'm fond of Beard's pita bread recipe. It was magical watching the loaves balloon in the 500° oven.
